More Guys Than You Think Enjoy Grey’s

I love this shirt because I love Grey’s. I also love the idea behind it. So many men out there are forced to watch Grey’s because of their girlfriends or wives, but I bet about 90% of those men who ‘pretend’ they don’t like it and roll their eyes when it’s on, actually really enjoy it.
My brother in law is one of these guys. Rolls his eyes when we are all talking about it and then when we are planning who’s house to watch it at this week etc, then when it’s on he is the one that ’shush’s’ people …read more
Being Grounded

I actually was never really grounded as a kid. Not because I was a perfect little angle, but because my parents never really used ‘grounding’ as a punishment. Apparently to some kids, grounding was the only way to go. What exactly does grounded mean? In this instance, this poor tree is grounded for life and doesn’t even have a choice. Even if he wanted to run away and ‘break’ the grounding and not obey his or her parents he can’t!
How many times have you probably heard a parent use this expression though. They are so angry in the moment at …read more
Annoying…Not AnnYong

I don’t know who Ann Yong is, so I’m just going to pretend that this name tag says annoying because that is pretty funny in itself! There is always this one person at a party, or a networking event, or out with friends that is so obviously annoying. So annoying that they must be doing it on purpose and there is no way they don’t know they are doing it. I probably know this because I have had my fair share of times where I have been called annoying. I’m the little sister. It was my job.
The funny thing is …read more

So today here at the Daily Tee, my tee of the day is a tribute to a very special family of mine out there. My dear old cousin came over from England about a year and a half ago with his family, and decided to set up shop here in Canada. Canada for them was the place to be. Who could blame them? So my cousin, his wife, and their two children made their journey and arrived here in Canada and woo’d all us Canadians with their fancy British accent and said “honey…we’re home!”
It was really nice for us because …read more
Beer Pong

You are either amazing at it, or you suck. In any event, when it’s your turn and your standing at the other end of the ping pong table, you think and know that this throw is going to be awesome. This throw is going to be the best throw you have ever thrown, and your going to get it into a cup and sink it and win the game. You know you suck, but you feel like you are just the best player on the team and everyone is going to give you high fives all the way around and …read more
Tickling The Ivory

One of my favorite expressions ‘to tickle the ivory’. Don’t know where it came from, and I don’t know if it’s a common, but to tickle the ivory means to play the piano. Get it? Ivory is what keys are made of (elephant tusks) and when you play the piano, you are simply just tickling them! I think it’s very clever. My mom uses this expression all the time and now I have adapted to it.
My dad loves the piano and wanted his three daughters to learn how to play. His dream was to one day see each of us …read more
