Wanting to Spend Money

Why is it that when you are prepared to spend money, and go shopping with the attitude to buy tons of things, you never can find anything. It’s the times where you don’t have the money, or don’t have the time that everything you see, you want.
This happens to me frequently and I don’t understand why. I even put aside a Saturday to drive to the States to go nuts and buy a whole new summer wardrobe. What happened? I only came back with a lousy t-shirt.

I guess at the end of the day it’s better because you haven’t spent all your money, but it’s also very unsatisfying. Was it you? Your mood? Having a bad day? Terrible fashion at the moment? Or do the fashion Gods actually know your in the mood to spend, so then deliberately play jokes on you?
Whatever the reason, I now try to pretend that i’m not psyched for shopping when I do want to shop, in hopes that I actually will find something when I’m allowing myself to shop.
