  1. Egypt has proved again that they have the credentials to dominate African football. Well, I am very much disappointed with Ivory Coast being failed to reach the final. Anyway, I think, Egypt deserved the title as far as their performance is concerned. Cameroon also played well but it was proven less enough to invincible Egypt. Actually, what makes me happy is that African football has developed a lot in terms of performance and style. You can understand it easily if you look at some of the popular European clubs facing problems when their African stars were out to join up national squad to take part in the continental tournament. What is more, you can see that the star footballers of the African countries, were not in dominant form in the tournament expect some exception. It shows that there are lot more stars waiting to come out from the African countries. It is the positive side of African football.
