AS Bari Under New Management

It was announced today that AS Bari of the Series A club will be sold to an American tycoon looking to dabble in soccer. The move will make Timothy Barton effectively the owner of AS Bari and he already has plans on how he is going to change the team around.

The transition will take place on October 31st and will make Barton the club president. Though he has decided already to keep Vincenzo Matarrese as president interim.
Barton is not known for his business savy ways in sports. Instead he made his fortune building luxury properties throughout the world.
Personally, I think that the change might do them some good. Become more competitive or something. Plus I mean there’s no shame in being taken by the United States yet again. FIAT had to come to GM’s rescue though that deal never panned out.
