Beckham: Your Opinion?

Times Online reported the other day that David Beckham was booed off of the field after getting an uncontested red card for a deliberate tackle on Pete Vagenas of Seattle Sounders FC. People there said that they were not booing Beckham but were responding to the red card call. Most people believe that the red card was uncalled for.
After reading the comments on the article I noticed that the feelings are split. Some believe that David Beckham is slowly giving up his game while others think that he is doing the best he can with what he’s working with.
I don’t think that Beckham is the kind of guy who is deliberately throwing games but he’s not exactly performing for what he’s worth. I mean he’s playing along-side others who make $30,000/year and all of those guys put there all into every game. Beckham was brought on as a LA Galaxy merchandise goldmine.
