Brazil Will Host 2014 World Cup

christ-redeemer-rio-de-janeiro-brazilIf nothing goes wrong Brazil will be given the go ahead in hosting the 2014 FIFA World Cup. Committee members visited Brazil this weekend and have given the unofficial nod for hosting the worlds largest sporting event.

“Under the continental rotation scheme initiated by FIFA boss Joseph Blatter, it is South America’s turn and Brazil is the only candidate after Colombia withdrew its bid.”

Brazil, the only country to have qualified for every single World Cup event, has only been host of the prestigious event once. That’s shocking considering that no country pumps out world-class soccer players like Brazil. They are like a soccer player factory.
