Burnley Defeat Arsenal 2-0 Carling Cup 2008 - quarter final - December 2, 2008

Burnley made history yesterday when they managed to pull off a 2-0 victory over Arsenal in the 2008 Carling Cup Semi-Final’s in London. After managing to beat Chelsea, another tough team, Burnley have been this years Cinderella story.

  1. Arsenal got off to a mixed start to this season. They went into the match on the back of an inspirational victory over Chelsea. No doubt, Burnley has turned Arsenal’s world upside down. Now, it is yet to see if Burnley can win the league cup this season.
