Manchester United was digging hard for a winning round over Everton, but couldn’t quite clench the advantage. The match remain scoreless throughout the play time and it wasn’t until the end when a 4-2 penalty shootout decided the game for Everton.

Some sports analysis have place the blame for the Man. United’s loss on manager Alex Ferguson who made the call to play his reserves and keep a strong defensive play. Not a good tacktic for scoring goals.

In the image fans at Wembley Stadium cheer as Manchester United’s Patrice Evra and Everton’s Leon Osman fight over the ball.
