The FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil is coming to a close in deciding its quarter finalists. The United States didn’t help their situation by losing 6-5 to Portugal today, who now have a secure spot in the quarter-finals Group B.
In other games, Spain lost to Iran 5-4, Brazil eliminated Russia 5-4 on penalties to win a spot in Group A. Mexico is keeping alive in eight position after their 6-3 win over the Solomon Islands.
Nigeria and Senegal are also in the quarter finals. Italy, Uruguay, Japan, Argentina and France are all fighting for the last two spots.
