FIFA Fines Croatia After Reports of Racism

A little while ago, Chelsea filed an official complaint because of racism emerging from Croatian
fans against English player, Emile Heskey during a World Cup qualifying match.
FIFA decided to fine Croatia £15,067 ($27,700) also warning them that more severe punishments will take place should the racism continue. Even saying, “all of the means at its disposal to eliminate this form of discrimination.”
I’m glad they’re taking a stand. This isn’t the first time Croatia has been fined for racism. Maybe they’ll learn this time around.
