FIFA U-17 World Cup – Canada

Because I am Canadian I have to brag a little bit about our U-17 Women’s team. The are in New Zealand fighting for the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup. Not much was expected so it come as exciting news to find out that they are fighting to stay afloat in the Group A standings. It was supposed to be the decisive game for second in Group A but neither Canada or Denmark were able to score a goal. Canada will now have to face Germany on Saturday.

    England through to semi finals too. They started as underdogs in group D but managed 2 wins.Got Japan next though and it must be said that Japan and Germany are the favourites so good luck to you too-it seems we are both supporting underdogs in quarter finals
