“South Wales Police have arrested a 23-year-old man and a 29-year-old man on suspicion of section four public order offences.”
Oh dear. Has the world gone completely mad when the worst crime that South Wales Police can find to investigate is two footballers wearing a t-shirt and carrying a flag mocking their rivals? Maybe the child abductors, rapists, murderers and burglars are happy with this policy but it gets me angry to see police time and resources wasted just so they can all get their nsmes in the paper and the two players involved, Lee Trundle and Alan Tate, can get a slap on the wrist.
I’m not going to get into a political debate on the issue but my post the other day tells all about what I think of the players being punished for taunting Cardiff fans when they weren’t even involved in the game and let;’s just say I’m not impressed by the two lads being arrested.
Disgrace is the word that springs to mind. Maybe I’ll start a campaign, readers of thefootie.com unite, support us as we attempt to:
FREE THE SWANSEA TWO!!!

south wales police, the faw and welsh media are a complete and uttr joke.but its back fired on them.swans fans are now boycotting the media organizations that blew thi story out of prportion i.e. real radio and western mail and this incident has unified the swans fans like nothing before.we have closed ranks around the team and this club will get promotion due to the renewed vigour and passion this debcle has fuelled
Glad to hear it. I thought that was the only real side effect that the whole debacle would produce i.e. binding the Swansea players and fans together even more than before and showing the South Wales Police, FAW and media up for the glory hunting, politically correct pricks that they are.
Come the revolution…
