Germany’s Women Soccer Team Given National Awards

President Köhler with coach Silvia Neid, who received the Distinguished Silver Cross"German President Horst Köhler presented the German women’s soccer team with the Silver Laurel Leaf — the country’s highest honour for sporting achievements — on Wednesday, Dec. 5."

Germany’s national coach Silvia Neid was presented the Distinguished Service Cross, noting her many contributions to world soccer.

Congratulations team Germany for your outstanding performance.
