"German President Horst Köhler presented the German women’s soccer team with the Silver Laurel Leaf — the country’s highest honour for sporting achievements — on Wednesday, Dec. 5."
Germany’s national coach Silvia Neid was presented the Distinguished Service Cross, noting her many contributions to world soccer.
Congratulations team Germany for your outstanding performance.
