Player Gets Punched By Fan In Brazil

In a surprising bit of news today, Brazil proved once again that they are crazy about soccer. Fans of the Fluminense club are a little upset with the fact that their team has gone winless during the last four games.
Their last game against Santos even ended in a disappointing 4-1 loss. Disappointing is an understatement, fans were outright mad. This despite the fact that their head coach is Carlos Alberto Parreira former coach of Team Brazil.
Local media blamed the loss on the players who were said to have been caught enjoying Brazil’s crazy night life instead of focusing on the game. During a practice yesterday fans protested on the side-lines of a practice. Midfielder Diguinho got into a verbal fight with one of the fans and was punched in the stomach. Ouch, security jumped into the action but the fighting ended after a few warning shots were fired in the air. No one else was injured.
