Queen Elizabeth II Attends Football Match in Turkey

Queen Elizabeth II and husband Prince Philip were in Turkey May 16, 2008 to watch a soccer match. The game began with a ceremony with the Queen presenting the match ball to the young player – in front of Turkey’s Prime Minister Tayyip Erdogan his wife Emine Erdogan.
The main goal of the soccer visit was to dwell on the similarities shared between Turkey and the United Kingdom. Keep politics out of soccer please!
