Soccer Captain O’Donnell Dies During Game

Phil_O'Donnell_Motherwell Tragedy struck the soccer world when 35 year old captain Phil O’Donnell died suddenly after collapsing in a match. O’Donnell played for Motherwell of Ireland. The tragic event happened during a match against Dundee United in the Scottish Premier League.

News is still sketchy around the circumstances but there was no contact during the game that could have caused O’Donnell to collapse.

Our hearts go out to the O’Donnell family and all who were close to him.
