Soccer Shooting Tips

I read this article on the Internet the other day about tips on being a better soccer player. The 7 Soccer Shooting Tips have it broken down like this:

  1. Develop bigger leg muscles. Stronger legs quickly translate into better harder kicks.
  2. Shooting with accuracy. Shooting hard might be great but it’s pointless to do anymore training if you arn’t going to try and control those hits. Try kick target practicing. Kick a ball around with a friend who could also use improving his soccer skills.
  3. Different methods for shooting. Develop different ways to kick the ball – for example, it is better to shoot with the inside of your foot from 8-12 yards range. However, 20 + yards ranges are perfect for instep shoots.
  4. Analyze your game. More experience playing is one of the only ways to gain game experience. Know your opponents and how they play.
  5. Find a goalkeeper to practice with. The goalie might need and want to have someone to train with as well.
  6. Watch LIVE or Professional Games on TV. Learning moves and tacticts on other professional players is a great way to discover new idea. When watchinh a game don’t forget to take notes to keep those ideas fresh.
  7. Satisfied is a No, No. Don’t ever be satisfied with your soccer ability. Once you become the best on your team strive to become the best in the league or nation. Basicall never stop aspiring to be the best.
