In more South Africa World Cup news, the newly renovated Green Point Stadium is almost complete.

Green Point Stadium, South Africa

The stadium was built on a previous stadium that needed a makeover for the World Cup games. The Cape Town suburb at Green Point is a popular shopping district and Metropolitan Golf Club. The golf course will be moved before the games begin, to make way for other World Cup venues.

When the World Cup Games begin later this year the $4.5 billion stadium will be host to five round matches (one second round, one quarter-final and one semi-final).
