Bordeaux Takes Lead In French League

In France’s Ligue 1 the defending Bordeaux F.C. champions fought to retake the lead in their division. It was a special game for the Bordeaux Girondins after defeating Les Mans 3-0 to retake the one point lead over Monaco. Also in the league Lyon lost to Nice 4-1.

Bordeaux FC Moves Up With 14th Game Win

The Girondins (Bordeaux) of France’s Ligue 1 have moved up in their standings after celebrating their 14th game winning streak against Nice rivals. The game ended 4-0 with star player Yoann Gourcuff scoring two of the goals.

Bordeaux won the last 11 games of last season taking over the leagues title winners Olympic Lyonnaise who had dominated the French league during the last decade. With the season just begun, Bordeaux proves that they are deserving of their last years win by winning the first three games. Bordeaux Girondins Defeat Montreal Impact

The Bordeaux Girondins were in Montreal to play the En avant Guingamp Club for the Champions Trophy on Saturday, July 25. I guess they decided that since they were there anyways they’d play the Montreal Impact.
The two teams faced off yesterday at the Saputo Stadium and resulted in a not surprising Bordeaux 2-1 victory. The friendly match is a good sign that the Impact are serious about joining the MLS. Bordeaux Girondins Take Lead in Ligue 1

In the French Ligue 1 football match, the Bordeaux Girondins faced off against the Olympique Lyonnais. The Girondins won the game 1-0.
