Brazil Wins Confederations Cup!

It certainly has been a strange turn of events. Brazil defeated USA to take the Confederations Cup title for their second year. It was widely believed that Spain was going to win it, but after a disappointing loss against USA Spain found themselves fighting for third.
It was within USA grasp, yet they couldn’t quite make the magic happen. The game ended in a narrow victory of 3-2. Player Gets Punched By Fan In Brazil

In a surprising bit of news today, Brazil proved once again that they are crazy about soccer. Fans of the Fluminense club are a little upset with the fact that their team has gone winless during the last four games.
Their last game against Santos even ended in a disappointing 4-1 loss. Disappointing is an understatement, fans were outright mad. This despite the fact that their head coach is Carlos Alberto Parreira former coach of Team Brazil.

Ronaldo & Ronaldinho Not Playing For Brazil

Two of the biggest soccer stars for Brazil have just been left off of the Brazil national team list. Ronaldo and Ronaldinho will not be playing for different reasons according to Brazil’s coach, Dunga.
Head coach for the Brazil National team has just released their World Cup roster for the games in South Africa and they do not include Ronaldo and Ronaldinho. Dunga told reporters that both players are going through some personal problems are not ready to represent Brazil in the World Cup.

Ronaldinho may not return to AC Milan next season. After playing with the Corinthians in the Brazilian Football League manager and brother Roberto de Assis said that he is unsatisfied with his demotion in the AC Milan lineup.
Ronaldinho who is probably still one of the best soccer players in the world right now plays second fiddle to other stars with AC Milan like David Beckham. Brazil & Ecuador Draw in Cup Qualifying

It was supposed to be a quick win for Brazil, but in their World Cup qualifying round they managed to only be able to secure a tie with Ecuador.
Not saying that Ecuador is a bad team, just that Brazil is well… Brazil! Well it just goes to show that anything could happen. Does this mean that Canada has a chance for a World Cup 2010 standing?
Ecuador’s Cristian Nobosa forced a 1-1 tie with Brazil after scoring in the 89th min. Fans roared in the Quito, Ecuador stadium where the two teams met on Sunday, March 29.
