English Football association (FA) head Ian Watmore, has stated that he believes the UEFA should leave players salaries free to the open market. This comes just days after the UEFA has expressed their concern that European soccer players are being paid too much and that there needs to be a cap on a clubs spending.
The UEFA believes that the salary cap will help lesser financially able clubs stay competitive against other clubs who can afford to pay for the big players. The decision to enforce the salary restrictions are still in the process of being debated but it has …read more
