David Beckham is starting it all over again. He’s talking to LA Galaxy club coach and managers about his desire to be loaned out to AC Milan for another season. While Beckham’s last visit to Milan lasted longer than agreed upon, he returned to a team who acted like they didn’t want him back. In fact he even got fined for a confrontation he participated in against the infamous LA Riot Squad who heckled his loyalty at during a exhibition game.

Dvaid Beckham

Beckham says that he needs to play for AC Milan to be considered for the Team England spot during the World Cup Games in South Africa. Another visit to Italy could ruin his career in Los Angeles permanently. MLS managers are now looking past the days of bringing marketable big players to their league and are instead looking for loyal players who will act like they want to play here.

It’s not so bad tha Beckham went over on loan to AC Milan it was the fact that he never wanted to come back. I mean he fought tooth and nail to stay and be apart of their permanent lineup. It went beyond wanting to make the English World Cup squad, and instead dipped into the I want to be out of my contract with the LA Galaxy.

It’s sad but in sports every player has a price fixed over their head. For David Beckham, he was appraised for $3 Million. A fair market assessment apparently. But it wasn’t enough to impress the LA Galaxy.

I guess they want more than the market price for Beckham because for the MLS Beckham is the MLS! Without his interest could drop dramatically.
Whatever happened to the dream of bringing soccer to North America? Well for the MLS that ‘dream is worth more than $3 Million dollars. Sorry AC Milan looks like Beckham is staying in the New World.

It’s not looking good for LA Galaxy or MLS fans in general. David Beckham’s agents have been given the go ahead to discuss ”options” with the AC Milan soccer club.

After being on loan with AC Milan Beckham might be realizing that he will not make it on team England in time for the 2010 World Cup in South Africa. The truth is that if Beckham stays with the MLS he will not be good enough to play in the World Cup, plain and simple.

I mean let’s face it, the only thing Beckham did for the MLS is drive the ticket prices higher.
