Beckham Promises To Be Back

David Beckham promised fans at the end of his last game in the 2009 MLS season that he will indeed be back next year. His five year contract with the LA Galaxy has just two years remaining and that has some fans worried that he might want out before the contracts over. Beckham’s real commitment has always been with the English National team and he’s played over 100 game on the team.

Germany Wins 2009 Euro U-21 Cup

It was Germany against England in the 2009 Euro Under-21 Cup, and Germany managed to come out on top. Germany forced in four goals and shut-out England at the Malmo Stadium in Sweden yesterday, June 29, 2009.
It was a sold out crowd at the Malmo Stadium in Sweden. English coach Stuart Pearce told reporters that he was disappointed in the loss but that he plans to analyze the game to help improve the team. He was signed for another two year contract with the Under-21 team.

England Massacres Kazakhstan Soccer Team

England is proving that they want the World Cup bad. They defeated Kazakhstan yesterday 4-0 in Almaty, the capitol city of Kazakhstan.
England has now gone 6 games in the World Cup Qualifiers, winning all of them. Going undefeated is a good start for a team set on winning the cup one more time for England.
England has only won the World Cup once in 1966 when they hosted the event.
