Well you’d have to expect that the French would stick together. After Henry found himself into a bit of trouble by deliberately touching the ball and causing the World Cup Qualifying match against Ireland to be replayed. With the world and the Irish understandably upset over the incident many are calling Henry a deliberate cheater. Henry in turn stated that he wasn’t at fault and that it should have been up to the ref to officiate over the game.

Bordeaux Takes Lead In French League

In France’s Ligue 1 the defending Bordeaux F.C. champions fought to retake the lead in their division. It was a special game for the Bordeaux Girondins after defeating Les Mans 3-0 to retake the one point lead over Monaco. Also in the league Lyon lost to Nice 4-1.
