Beckham Gets Red Card For Tripping

Everyone seemed shocked to see the invincible David Beckham thrown off of the team during a match against the Seattle Sounders last night. Beckham slid into Sounders midfielder Peter Vagenas while trying to reach the ball. He apparently hooked his right ankle onto Vagenas who inadvertently bringing him down to the ground. Seeing the incident as deliberate referee Ricardo Salazar threw down the red card. Meaning that Beckham had to leave the game, and miss his next game against Chicago.

Landon Donovan Separates From Actress Wife

LA Galaxy’s Landon Donovan and starlet actress from the hit TV show “Rules of Engagement”, Bianca Kajlich. The two have been separated for some time now but have officially made the announcement yesterday.
Bianca and Landon met at a New Years Party in 2006. They have no children together. Questions were beginning to circulate when Landon decided to bring a date to the 17th Annual ESPY Awards held at the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles, California on July 15th, 2009.

LA Galaxy vs FC Barcelona Set For Friendly

With David Beckham beck in the regular saddle with LA Galaxy and Landon Donovan taking the lead in scores they might be prepared to face FC Barcelona. The European team will be coming to the U.S. to play a friendly match in the famous Rose Bowl, Pasadena, California.
Tickets are on sale now. You don’t get too many opportunities to see these premier teams play on American turf so it truly is a monumental event. The game is scheduled for August 1st, 2009 so it you are in town then be sure to secure a ticket at Ticketmaster/LA Galaxy.

Beckham Making Season Debut Against N.Y.

David Beckham will be playing his first game since returning from AC Milan last season. Despite the fact that the season started in March, Beckham has been absent to do photo shoots, practice with Team England and finish the season with AC Milan.
Despite his absence, LA Galaxy has been on a winning streak thanks to lead scorer, Landon Donovan who has been carrying the captainless team. Beckham Under Fire From Donovan Comment

David Beckham has been under fire from a comment made by LA Galaxy co-player Landon Donovan. Donovan was quoted by author Grant Wahl in his new book The Beckham Experiment for saying some accusatory remarks.
According to Wahl, Donovan said that Beckham was a poor captain and teammate. Reporters have been wanting to know what was said during a meeting between the two and coach behind closed doors. That my friends will probably remain a secret, though everyone likes a good gossip.

Donovan & Hamm Join USA 2018 Bid Team

Two of the biggest USA soccer stars have been asked to help a United States bid for the 2018 or 2020 World Cup. Mia Hamm and Landon Donovan have been asked and have agreed to help the National Bid Committee in their ensuing efforts.
Being able to host the FIFA World Cup games is one of the best economic boosts a country could have.
