David Beckham is starting it all over again. He’s talking to LA Galaxy club coach and managers about his desire to be loaned out to AC Milan for another season. While Beckham’s last visit to Milan lasted longer than agreed upon, he returned to a team who acted like they didn’t want him back. In fact he even got fined for a confrontation he participated in against the infamous LA Riot Squad who heckled his loyalty at during a exhibition game.

FIFA President Offers Advice For MLS

FIFA President Sepp Blatter had a few words of advice for the MLS this week. He complained that other professional players will now follow David Beckham into the MLS because of the timing of its seasons.
Beckham who knew that he wanted to be in top shape to play for England in the World Cup, had to skip over to AC Milan. This is because there were too many months of inactivity before the World Cup Qualifying matches. The regular European season for soccer begins in August and ends in May. The head coach of the MLS team Toronto FC, has quit today over what he says are personal reasons. Coach John Carver resignation is effective immediately though nothing will be announced until after Toronto’s game against the Kansas City Wizards on Sunday.

Stadium May Halt Ottawa MLS Bid

Major League Soccer commissioner Don Garber and president Mark Abbott were in Ottawa, Canada to discuss plans for creating a club there. They are strongly considering Ottawa’s bid to create a MLS Club but has told reporters that they will have to put together a better stadium. Eugene Melnyk, who would be the part owner of the team is now pleading with the government to help pay for a $110 million soccer specific stadium.
