]]> Alan Shearer, who had his first game today as the new manager for Newcastle, failed to impress as Chelsea stole afplivetwo833357-fbl-eng-pr-newcastthe show in a 2-0 victory.  With just seven matches remaining, Newcastle are in the bottom three right now and haven’t celebrated an at home victory in nearly four months. Truly awful.

Chelsea player, Frank Lampard, kicked the ball in an empty net in the 56th minute, followed by Florent Malouda who sealed the deal for his team with a second goal after 65 minutes.

It is not looking good for Newcastle right now. Middlesbrough are two points behind them while West Bromwich Albion takes last place at 24 points.

Currently, the top three in the Premier League right now are the usual suspects, being Liverpool, at 67 points, Manchester United, at 65 points and Chelsea, at 64 points.
