Real Madrid’s Cristiano Ronaldo has been showing signs of cracking. The new soccer hero of Madrid has been recently diagnosed with performance anxiety. Meaning that he suffers from panic attacks before games. It was one thing to be the top dog for Manchester United but now that he’s with Real Madrid he feels as if he has to perform at his best at all times to warrant his $132 million paycheck.

Real Madrid $483 Million In Debt

The Real Madrid CF soccer club has revealed their financial records showing record breaking debts. The Spanish club showed that they are at least €327 million in debt ($443 million US) after going on a spending spree with new star players like Cristiano Ronaldo, Kaka, Karim Benzema and Raul Albiol.
The four star players have a newly combined salary of €217 million ($324 million US), making up a huge portion of the debt. It almost seemed as if Real Madrid were human when they failed to plant any goals into DC United’s net during the first half of the match last night. DC goal tender Josh Wicks made some amazing saves that stunned both fans and Real Madrid strikers alike.

It wasn’t supposed to be a fair match when Real Madrid rolled onto the BMO Fields. They were met by a packed stadium of fans wanting to get a glimpse of the super-team that was freshly assembled this summer. Ronaldo, Kaka and Benzema were all added to the new Real Madrid roster, making them the team to beat this season.

Everyone is gearing up for an epic match of the Toronto FC verses Real Madrid. With the recent acquisition of Cristiano Ronaldo, Real Madrid are believed to be the best team in the world right now.

It’s normal that if you posses something valuable you insure it, right? Well in some soccer news today Real Madrid announced that they have insured their new star player Cristiano Ronaldo’s legs, for an estimated $144 million.
Claiming to have insured his legs for that amount could seem excessive. If I were Ronaldo I’d be afraid of not always being the best player for Real Madrid. Cristiano Ronaldo received a warm welcome to a crowd of over 75,000 fans in Madrid, Spain – July 6th, 2009. Ronaldo was traded from Manchester United to Real Madrid in a deal worth €13 million per season. It was speculated that he had been wanting to be traded for a long time now. I guess he just wanted to be somewhere that had better weather.
The crowd at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium cheered when he received his #9 jersey from club president Florentino Pérez.
