The Seattle Sounders shut down any hopes for the F.C. Dallas winning the Major League Soccer Cup this year by eliminating them from the playoffs. Saturday night’s game at the Qwest Fields in Seattle was a saddening loss for Dallas when they let in two goals, ending the game 2-1.

Seattle Sounders FC Announce Sigi Schmid as New Head Coach

Today, the new MLS team – Seattle Sounders FC – have announced Sigi Schmid as their new head coach. The Seattle Sounders FC are the newest team added to the MLS for the 2009 season. The announcement came via video stream from the Seattle Sounders FC press room at 11am this morning.
And FYI, The Seattle Sounders FC have already showed off their new home and away jerseys. I like that they are sponsored, and look like the Xbox 360.
