The Seattle Sounders shut down any hopes for the F.C. Dallas winning the Major League Soccer Cup this year by eliminating them from the playoffs. Saturday night’s game at the Qwest Fields in Seattle was a saddening loss for Dallas when they let in two goals, ending the game 2-1.

No.1 SuperDraft Pick Goes To Seattle Sounders

The Seattle Sounders are putting together a dream team this season. First with the signing of the highly successful coach Sigi Schmid and now the SuperDraft pick of Zakuani.
Zakuani was the number one draft pick for this season and by looking at his past playing record there isn’t any wonder why. Originally from the Democratic Republic of Congo he later moved to England and played for the Arsenal FC youth team. Attending the University of Akron he was their featured star player. His older brother Gabriel is also a professional footballer and plays for the Peterborough United.
