In Canada, and I’m sure around the world too, there is a serious hazing problem occurring in schools. High schools and universities are experiencing cases of students being hazed as a right of passage into their sports team. In a recent report a group of women at Carleton University in Ottawa, Canada ganged up on the new soccer recruit and made them do demeaning acts as well as being involuntarily confined.

Hazing has always been deemed as serious offense in schools but the problem is that students who are hazed are scared to come forward and tell what happened. Now it seems now with the help of the internet, teachers are catching their students after the upload their video’s on YouTube.
Because of the incidence the women’s soccer team have been suspended from playing for the next two games.
