Zimbabwe Under Review By FIFA 2010 World Cup Executives

November 12, 2007 by Jyle Dupuis
Filed under FIFA World Cup, News, Rumors

800px-Flag_of_Zimbabwe.svg The country of Zimbabwe is being carefully reviewed by FIFA 2010 World Cup executives who are concerned with stadium repairs. Zimbabwe is supposed to aid neighbouring country South Africa, in hosting the international soccer event but they seem to be having trouble getting into gear.

Stadiums are in desperate repair and months behind schedule. Rumours are floating around that contingency plans are already being made if Zimbabwe cannot keep their commitments.

hey man this is serious, u know i’m a Zimbabwean by birth and i juss do not know what will become of my country in terms of commitment in the development of soccer. I just hope that the guys in soccer administration inZimbabw ewill one day work up and realise that something ought to be done before its too late.Thank God the new ZIFA CEO Henrietta seems to be on the right track. My country has got vast talent in soccer aND ITS MY MAJOR WORRY THAT NO ONE WILL NOTICE THIS AND SOON THE YOUNG TALENT WILL BE WASTED
