Apple iPhone creeps into the European market

The Apple iPhone is going to be the hottest selling item in USA soon and its now trying to make its way into the European market as many European telco companies are fighting hard for the distribution rights. Mobile players like Vodafone, Orange and O2 owner Telefonica are in the run for the bid with Vodafone and T-Mobile gaining a short lead on the deal. Nonetheless, the Gartner research director feels that Apple should not just look at getting just one company signed on as the European market is getting pretty fragmented and competition with at least 2 players will spice things up. Personally, I’m just waiting for this phone to hit the Asian market as I’m dying to get my hands on it.
