Bebo is to sign a deal with Apple to sell iTunes directly through the site. The deal will involve songs being sold on bands and singers’ profile pages if only the music is already available on iTunes. This is the first time iTunes store has partnered with a third party social networking site in selling music. Bebo will also be the platform to help iTunes promote lesser known artists. To promote, Bebo will offer users free music download each week to introduce new artists and releases.
