The techdigest guys call this “the world’s most technologically advanced desk.”, is that for real ? Can it fly ? No but it is an actual built-in PC in a table. It has a CDRW/DVD combo on the side, a few USB sockets and hot keys for PC shortcuts. You add RAM to it by flipping it open. Oh heck, why not surf the web and play a few rounds of poker too ? The new Nokia Maps 2.0 has a Walk mode feature for tourist who prefer walking and a visual guide that will tell you where you just have been. The turn-by-turn directions are also voice-guided, which would have been premium on the older version.. Nokia Maps is available for Nokia Series 60 mobile handsets that include all N-series and E-series models as well as some high-end 6000 series models. I will be in Hong Kong this week and I really wanted to try out this new Nokia Maps 2.0 app for my Nokia N95. Since I did not have enough time, I decided to bring along a visitors map instead. I will try out the Nokia Maps 2.0 on my next overseas vacation. via gadgetell [Read more]

Here’s one of them no-frills clamshell cellphones from Motorola. I guess they are getting lazy in designing something new the last few months. The Motorola W755 does not have any interesting features. Some specs include a bit outdated 2.5mm earphone jack, touch sensitive external buttons, V Cast, support for AAC, AMR NB, MIDI, MP3 and WMA V9 audio formats. The phone only comes in 2 colors – black or purple and will retail for a mere $69.99 after a Verizon contract and rebate. via ubergizmo pic source [Read more]
