Buffalo has released yet another tool that could potentially reduce the mess and clutter often associated with the office workspace. The BHB-U207 USB squid hub comes with individual tentacles so that you can connect a plethora of USB-based devices without worrying about losing a single USB port to a poorly designed connection. Unfortunately, the Buffalo BHB-U207 USB squid hub is not powered, so hooking up a quartet of external USB drives to it will be suicide. Just stick with low-power consumption items such as mice, a USB fan, and even a sync cable and you’ll do just fine. Another downside would be the potential mess that could result from all the tentacles. There are 2 versions available – the four-port version will set you back by $21 while the two-port version costs $17. Choose from 4 different colors.

My USB squid worked great for about 6 months then just coughed one day and that was it.
I have two of them and after about a year they both quit working…
