Bypass That Pesky YouTube Blocking

Ok, it’s understandable that corporate sys ads want to keep the company bandwidth free, but we all must enjoy our videos! Work done for the day but have nothing better to do? Here are two ways to bypass that pesky YouTube blocking:
Use a Proxy. A proxy fools the office’s filters by disguising YouTube or any other verboten site. Some proxies are better than others, providing practically the same online experience that you’d enjoy if you didn’t have to hide from that damn admin. A good proxy is weprox.com. Just visit the site, enter the address you want to visit, and click on Begin Browsing!
Download the Video. Some filters block activity on YouTube, but let you download the actual FLV file. Instead of going through the trouble of converting FLV files into a more watchable format, or downloading an FLV player, just visit zamzar.com. The site lets you specify which video you want to download, choose what format you want to watch it in, and takes care of converting the video. Since ZamZar directly interfaces with YouTube, it won’t be blocked, and you can download after conversion’s complete. Better yet, it’s doubtful that ZamZar is as well-known as YouTube, meaning it’s probably not on the sys admin’s typical block list.
Take note though, some wily sys admins track your bandwidth usage, and may come down hard on you if they notice a lot of downloading on your part. Got any other methods to enjoy YouTube in the comfort of your own office?
