Phillip from Makezine was able to watch Doctor Atomic, an opera about—what else?—the first atomic bomb. Will we be seeing lengthy song-and-dance numbers on topics as techie as gaming, iPhone-mania, or (God forbid) blogging?
One thing’s for sure: if this trend picks up, it could be the rock operas for my generation. Just like how Jesus Christ Superstar “reinvented” the performance scene for my parents. More pics available here.
