Starting your car to heat it up in the cold weather or to cool it down in the hot sun is kinda neat when you can do it from a remote sensor one mile away. Directed Electronics, Inc. has come up with this neat digital Spread Spectrum Technology (SST™) key sensors to operate for up to a mile!
A true 2-Way transceiver, the Responder remote allows the user to send a command to the vehicle (i.e. arming the security system or starting the engine) and then receive confirmation back. The remote also acts like a pager, notifying the user by beeping or vibrating when the security system siren is activated.
Directed Electronics, Inc., (NASDAQ: DEIX), the largest designer and marketer of consumer branded vehicle security and convenience systems in the United States announced that its latest generation of one mile range vehicle security and remote start systems are now available at retailers throughout North America. This Remote start systems (the Viper 5900, Python 990 and Clifford Matrix 50.5X) are priced from $549 and will only be available in August, 2006.
