eXpansys making OQO available worldwide

I was wondering when this would come to our shores after I saw a peek of it in the May 2005 edition of Stuff Malaysia. Too bad I’ll need to order it from eXpansys Singapore which is still based in Hong Kong for a killer price of SG $4,174.95 (USD$2,564.95 ) . I’d rather get the Sony Vaio U71P that’s only SG $3618 (USD $1699 )
OQO is making the OQO model 01 availabler through eXpansys, a specialist distributor of mobile technology. The US version of the OQO model 01 will be available on-line to customers in Canada, Mexico, Europe, and Asia.
“We are excited to introduce the OQO model 01 to the international market,” said Roger Butterworth, Group Managing Director of Mobile and Wireless Group Ltd (incorporating eXpansys). “This breakthrough ultra personal computer is a must-have for mobile professionals and enterprise users, and we are thrilled to bring it to a broader market.”
