My wife downloads a lot of movies via BitTorrent and she likes to keep it on our external hard disk casing. In fact, we live such busy lives that we hardly go out to movies, so watching one at home is a blessing. However, our sub USD 15 external casing does get a bit noisy once its been running for over 2 hours and putting a fan over it only serves to drain my $$$ down the drain. So we have this nifty Japanese invention to cool things down.
If you’re scared that your HDD will melt when putting it in a external casing, this might reassure you. This external USB 2.0 casing comes with an integrated 8cm fan spinning at 1800rpm to cool down the inside of the box. It measures 113×52x164mm and weighs 580g, and costs 55 EUR.
