So how long does the battery of the Nokia N97 last on a full charge? Turns out much longer than the N96 and N95: “For now though, one thing is clear: based on my (admittedly undemanding) usage, the Nokia N97 almost lasted for two days. A definite improvement over the N96!”
A complete log of the phone’s usage over two days, accompanied by frequent updates on remaining battery life, is available on Philippine affiliate Technograph.

I found that when I turn off the many running apps on the front page, the phone lasts pretty well – two to three days of moderate usage. Still, though, I’d love to have a phone I barely ever needed to recharge!
Well with no widgets connected to the internet and with no web browsing my battery lasts 4 days. When i use gps or some apps, it last 2-3 days. I can’t understand people complaining about the battery life. I had iphone and had problems with the battery. It didn’t even last 2 days without touching the phone.
And compared to the iPhone? Better or worse?
you cannot compare it with iphone since both iphone and n97 have almost the same amount of advantages/disadvantage. but the 2 BIG advantage of n97 over iphone, is multi-tasking (more than one applications can be run at the same time, the problem is u need to close them from task manager after, or the battery will go dead more faster) & 2) the keyboard that all touchscreen’s mobile phones sucks on texting messages etc.
thanks nokia for the great n97 mobile phone.
