I signed up for one of those $1.95 ads, company out of New Jersey apparently, just to see what the deal was, knowing I was likely throwing $$ away. I got what I expected, an explanation of the Google Adsense program and how to post that code on websites that I had control over. But then, they called up twice trying to sell me a monthly subscription to create new web sites promoting Amazon, eBay and other affiliate programs (which you can apply for free) in exchange for a monthly fee to gain "access to their network of affiliated products". I turned them down, twice.

Then a month later, they debited $69.90 from my checking account, same account the $1.95 had been debited from. I've been unable to reach a human to get this reversed and stopped, so I've turned them over to Chase Bank's Fraud Department.

Adios! Go deal with Chase Bank now!
