Here’s something from our shores of Malaysia.
The i-Berhad’s Pocket Media Player i-pocketTAKEAWAY iV4032 looks like a really affordable handheld media player. I’ll give them a tinker to see if I can get a demo set in for us to break.. haha
i-Berhad (Malaysia) has produced a low end pocket media player, the i-pocketTAKEAWAY iV4032, featuring a 2.5” TFT-LCD display, 32MB built-in memory, SD/MMC memory expansion slot, built-in microphone and speaker, and a Li-Ion battery.
This tiny unit measures 96×77 x 20 mm (smaller than a regular PDA) and weighs 110g. Main functions include AV recorder, movie player, MP3 player, photo album and voice recorder. It supports ASF, JPEG, MP3 and WAV formats.
This unit retails for RM799 (approximately US$212). It’s small and cheap, and you get what you pay for.
