I used to live in KL and had a Tramigo tracking device in my car that I got about two years ago. I need to get a new one, so I've been looking at the options and I think I will go with the same device if I can find it here.

It is a bit unrealistic to think that everyone would install a system into their car that requires monthly or annual fees. There are GPS vehicle trackers that allow you to do pretty much everything listed above without having to pay monthly fees. Ok, I guess you don't have your "private security service", but usually its enough to know where your stolen car is... I mean, there is the police for that...

With my Tramigo, all I had to do was to send a text to my car and it told me (by text to my cell) where it is. All the overspeed alerts, SOS, movement alerts and other hoobla work via SMS as well and all you have to pay for is a few text messages, not monthly fees.

I highly recommend.

P.S: Does anyone know if you can buy them in the Philippines?
