Today, we talk about “recycle” and “save the earth”. See.. we manage to recycle an ugly tree trunk into an gorgeous iPod docking system with speakers integrated. Oops… did I just cut down a “Tree” ?? 
Call the Forest Department. It could have come from a virgin forest.
US based House Special has a couple of inspiring product designs on their site. One of them is the story log a iPod Dock made from a tree.
Inspired by the pod casting trend and memories of sitting around campfires as a child, Ben Durrell created an iPod dock and speaker set. The story log is crafted from a 2 foot section of tree.
