Jason Bruges to create an interactive Lightgarden

Greenpeace have been lobbying hard to persuade more people to switch over to low energy ones. Using Government figures, they’ve calculated that the UK could save 5.1 million tones of CO2 per year by eliminating incandescent light bulbs – the equivalent output of the 26 lowest-emitting countries combined.

Put another way, if the entire country switched to low energy bulbs, the government could shut down 2 entire power stations.

Greenpeace recently teamed up with lighting designer, Jason Bruges, to create an interactive ‘lightgarden’ using the world’s first dimmable energy saving light bulb. You can see what they did, on YouTube video below
