Microsoft ‘s Zune on hold in Europe

pinkzune_2.jpg

Microsoft has cancelled plans to release Zune and flash Zune in Europe this year. Steve Ballmer stated in a German site that Zune is still losing money in Europe. Zune and the flash Zune might be released in Europe in the future but there is no exact time given. Microsoft is very secretive regarding their marketing plan for Zune. Right now, Zune is only being widely sold in the United States. For its market outside the United States, nothing is confirmed at the moment. No information is available regarding when it will be available. It might not be a bad idea to set up a strong US base market before going for other markets worldwide.
