Art Lebedev has announced the Upravlator, a monitor-shaped Optimus Mini Three OLED keyboard. It has a 10.8-inch LCD screen (640×480 pixels) with 12 transparent buttons and each button has five possible controls – top, bottom, left, right and center-on push.

Upravlator uses open standards and protocols, which will make it easier for developers to create applications. The device is compatible with Windows and Mac OS X.

The patents pending gadget is expected to be on sale in the second half of 2007.
