With everyone anticipating the new handsfree laws taking effect tomorrow, it’s good to know which Bluetooth headsets provide the best bang for your buck. The San Francisco Chronicle website has recently published a rundown of four handsets, discussing each model’s merits. Among these, the Aliph Jawbone stands out. Despite the lack of volume controls, its very compact and light design won praise.

The Chronicle lists the SRP of the Jawbone 2 at $130, though are lower prices to be found on Google Product Search. Are there any particular Bluetooth headsets that stand out for you? Which ones have proven worth the money? Feel free to leave a comment below; you may potentially help residents from California and Washington State grab a great deal and stay on the good side of the law.
